Drawing

This series of paintings represents an ongoing body of work that I have been developing since 2021, primarily using drawing and oil painting as my main mediums. I explore the entangled relationships between the body, memory, and the unconscious through contrasts between different materials. Black-and-white drawings convey a rawer, more essential emotional tension, while oil painting allows for more complex emotional landscapes to emerge through color and texture.

These works often shift along the boundary between figuration and abstraction—some respond to real events, while others serve as projections of internal emotion. Whether through the entanglement of lines, the accumulation of color fields, or the juxtaposition of collage and fabric, I am constantly searching for a visual language that can intuitively touch a feeling. For me, painting is not merely a formal exercise—it is a long process of self-witnessing and narrative.
